Now every magazine or newspaper can have a iPhone, iPad and Android app! I'm currently developing a low-cost platform that allows small publishing companies to reach their clients through mobile. Best of all, those companies won't need a technical team to manage contents or waste time re-editing everything for each platform... a userfriendly backend will deal with all that work automatically. 2012/01/12 - New iPhone app release – “myCube”
|
myCube was released today on the AppStore. This app was actually started in August, but the code had been waiting its final hours of development due to my need of dedicating my time to more urgent matters.
This is a productivity app I decided to make, mainly for personal use. I often have to repeat a previously done Google search to remember forgoten information. Basically I'm using Google as a database since my brain can't keep everything in...
The problem is that I waste a lot of time filtering again and again the relevant information, so I decided to make myCube which allows the user to remember websites and associate them with search words, with the click of a button. Next time I repeat an on-line search, if I had previously found what I wanted, those links will appear again with the order of relevance and date I had defined.
I'm sure it's not an app for everyone, but professional researchers should find it really useful.

2011/09/02 - Website made to promote my mobile development activities

Recently decided it was time to make a mobile development specific website.
Here, my apps' end-users can checkout news, support information and future releases.
Also, anyone seeking to have an app developed can check my "services" page to find more about the process of hiring me for that development.
The website is pretty simple to navigate and find the required information. I know it has a lot of text, but that's because I think nothing makes less sense than having a website without the information you need.

This app is intended for Portuguese speaking users who want to quickly know important information about Portugal,
written in Portuguese.
The app allows users to read information from different newspapers, see the latest covers of Portuguese newspapers, check the weather forecast in
Portugal and read their horoscope.
